College students from seven schools, affiliated with Dhaka College, are staging demonstrations blocking the Nilkhet intersection within the capital on Saturday protesting the suspension of their ongoing examinations.
The scholars blocked the Nilkhet intersection at 9:30 am. The scholars stated that after attending the middle, they will know that the examination has been postponed. In the present day was their final check.
The scholars complained that though the second 12 months examination was speculated to be held in 2018, it’s being held in 2022. Though the examination, which began on November 21, was supposed to finish at this time, it has been postponed.
Kawsar Hossain, a scholar of Poet Nazrul Authorities Faculty, stated, “We’re already in a horrible session jam. In the present day was scheduled to held the final examination. I got here to the middle and knew that the check has been postponed. Why such a farce with us?”
Sharif Mohammad Faruquzzaman, senior assistant commissioner of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Ramna division’s Newmarket zone, stated “We are attempting to persuade them. The scholars are claiming to take their last examination at this time, nevertheless, it’s a matter of college. We are attempting to take away them from the intersection.”
Additional motion could be taken on the directions of upper authorities, the police official stated.
