As per the brand new worth, customers must pay Tk 1,240 for a 12 kg LPG from February 3 as a substitute of Tk 1,178, up by Tk 62.

The Bangladesh Vitality Regulatory Fee (BERC)  introduced the brand new worth of LPG adjusting it with Saudi Contract Worth (CP) because the native LPG operators import the majority petroleum fuel from the Center East.

Some 20 personal firms dominate the native LPG market with greater than 95 per cent market share by means of an annual import of 1.2 million metric tons whereas the LP Fuel Firm provides solely 25,000 mts.
