In the meantime, farmers have already harvested the tuber number of onion on 1,239 hectares of land producing 13,495 tonnes of onion with a wonderful yield fee of 10.89 tonnes per hectare on a median.
“Getting profitable costs of onion, farmers are cultivating onion on extra land,” Rahman mentioned, including that the federal government has offered free onion seeds and help to small and marginal farmers to additional enhance onion manufacturing.
