Russia on Tuesday didn’t attend a gathering of members of the OSCE, the world’s largest safety physique, to clarify its army buildup close to the Ukraine border.
Kyiv had requested the assembly with Russia and different members of the Group for Safety and Co-operation in Europe to “focus on the reinforcement and motion of Russian forces alongside our border” underneath the so-called Vienna Doc.
The settlement requires the Vienna-based physique’s 57 members to share details about their army forces and notify one another about main actions.

“The USA welcomes the choice by Ukraine to name for this assembly,” Michael Carpenter, the US ambassador to the OSCE, advised the closed-door session.
