Asma Shafique, a Pakistani woman who was rescued by Indian officers within the war-torn nation of Ukraine, has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Embassy in Kyiv.

The Pakistani pupil who had been caught in Kyiv is now on his option to Western Ukraine for additional evacuation.

In line with the stories, she will probably be reunited along with her household quickly.

Shafique conveyed her gratitude to the Indian embassy in Kyiv and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his or her help after she was rescued by Indian authorities. 

“I need to thank the Indian embassy in Kyiv for supporting us all the best way right here as we had been caught in a really tough scenario, and I additionally need to thank the Prime Minister of India for supporting us. Hope we get house safely due to the Indian embassy,” she mentioned.

This is not the primary time India has saved a international nationwide.

In line with the Ministry of Exterior Affairs (MEA), India had already evacuated 9 Bangladeshi nationals

In line with The Kathmandu Publish, Roshan Jha, the primary Nepali nationwide to be evacuated from Ukraine by Indian officers, expressed his gratitude to the Indian authorities for his or her help. 

In the meantime, all Indian college students caught within the war-torn Ukrainian metropolis of Sumy have been relocated, and flights underneath Operation Ganga are being readied to move them again to India, in line with the Ministry of Exterior Affairs (MEA).

Arindam Bagchi, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Exterior Affairs, said that the Indian college students who had been evacuated from Sumy had been being transported to Poltava, from the place they’ll board trains to western Ukraine.

Sumy is roughly 175 kilometres away from Poltava.
