Nationwide College (NU) authorities have cancelled the studentship of Rahmat Ullah Rony – the primary accused in a case filed over forcing Mirzapur United Diploma School appearing principal Swapan Kumar Biswas to put on a garland of footwear.

The assembly was chaired by Vice-Chancellor Professor M Mashiur Rahman, confirmed NU Public Relations Workplace Director Md Ataur Rahman. 

Accused Rony was a fourth-year pupil of the division of Islamic historical past and tradition at Authorities Brajalal School, Khulna, underneath NU.

In a video of the incident, Swapan Kumar Biswas was seen apologising with folded arms whereas carrying a garland of footwear and being escorted by police.

Reportedly, he was overwhelmed by the gang and was compelled to placed on the garland of footwear regardless of being surrounded by lots of of police.

A probe committee fashioned by the Narail district administration submitted its report on the incident Sunday. One other committee fashioned to analyze the identical incident by Narail district police is but to lodge their report.
