United States Nationwide Safety Council spokesman John Kirby informed reporters on Tuesday (July 19) that the US has “ample proof” to assert that Russia plans to annex extra Ukrainian territory. As mentioned by Kirby, the areas focused for annexation embrace Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and all of Donetsk and Luhansk.

Kirby mentioned, “Already, Russia is putting in illegitimate proxy officers within the areas of Ukraine which can be beneath its management.” Throughout his interplay with the reporters, Kirby mentioned that Russia had plans to arrange “sham referenda” within the areas it has seized. He claimed that this might occur as early as September.
“Annexation by power shall be a gross violation of the UN Constitution and we won’t enable it to go unchallenged or unpunished,” Kirby mentioned, including that he was “exposing” the Russian plans “so the world is aware of that any purported annexation is premeditated, unlawful and illegitimate.”
“We’ll reply swiftly and severely and in lockstep with our allies and companions. We’re sanctioning the Russian-installed puppets and proxies,” he mentioned.

Russia-Ukraine warfare
Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered his navy to launch the invasion of Ukraine, calling it a “particular navy operation”. Putin mentioned that the goal of the invasion was “to guard the folks which can be subjected to abuse, genocide from the Kyiv regime” and to “demilitarise and denazify Ukraine.”
