World leaders have accused Russia of endangering the security of a complete continent after its forces shelled a nuclear energy station in southern Ukraine.
A fireplace broke out on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant – the biggest in Europe – after it was attacked by Russia.
Authorities say the power is now secure and radiation ranges are regular.
However UK Prime Minister Boris Jonson mentioned the “reckless” assault might “straight threaten the security of all of Europe”.
US President Joe Biden urged Moscow to cease its navy actions across the website, whereas Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau mentioned the “horrific assaults” from Russia “should stop instantly”. All three leaders spoke to Ukraine’s President Zelensky by cellphone.
