For round 29 minutes on Saturday, the social media account of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s Workplace was hacked, a PTI report stated citing senior officer.

After the case was registered with the Cyber Crime police station in Lucknow, the police assured strict motion can be taken in opposition to the culprits.

“The account was hacked for round 29 minutes at evening. The hackers posted round 400-500 tweets, and the account was suspended on grounds of unnatural exercise,” the senior official advised PTI.
In a tweet, the Uttar Pradesh authorities in Hindi, later stated, “There was an try by anti-social components to hack the official Twitter account of the Chief Minister’s Workplace @CMOfficeUP at 12.30 am on April 9. Some tweets had been posted by them which had been recovered instantly.”

After the probe is carried out within the case by cyber specialists, strict motion can be taken, it added.
Presently in Gorakhpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated the companies involved are investigating the matter.
A case has been registered beneath IT Act, stated Triveni Singh, cyber crime, Superintendent of Police, UP Police.
