Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on Friday introduced a 23-member main squad for the upcoming two-match Check sequence towards Bangladesh which is scheduled to start in Might.
From 23 members of the preliminary squad, 18 cricketers will go to Bangladesh to participate within the sequence. Lahiru Thirimanne and Charith Asalanka, who have been within the squad for the final sequence, have been dropped from the preliminary squad.
Surprisingly, nonetheless, Kamindu Mendis, the best run-scorer within the Sri Lankan home four-day event, has not been included within the preliminary squad. In the meantime, Roshan Silva and Oshada Fernando have been referred to as up for the crew.
